Hortus Conclusus I was a wall work completed in 1987, referencing the idea of the walled garden and the associations to the earthly paradise.

Hortus Conclusus II was the result of a collaboration with the head gardener, David at Hatfield House, Hertfordshire. It was exhibited in Tempered Ground, a presentation of collaborations between Head Gardeners and artists reflecting the many and varied roles and responses to the creation and maintenance of gardens in Britain. This project was curated: Danielle Arnaud, Jordan Kaplan and Phillip Norman.
